Breakfast at Sufra All Day Dining Restaurant

We had breakfast at Sufra during our stay at Hyatt Regency Dubai Creek Heights. Located at the lobby of the hotel, Sufra is an all-day dining restaurant which offers a selection of regional Middle Eastern, Mediterranean, Indian and Western specialties. The options during that day were a mix of continental and Mexican light bite options.

We had too good of a sleep that we woke up and arrived late, yet the restaurant was quite busy. We didn’t realize how many guests have checked in the hotel until that time. We almost didn’t get a table as most of them we’re occupied.

Despite being crowded, we could see the staff working and doing their best to accommodate every guest.

I checked the available options on the stations and it was composed mostly of lite bites – breads, cold cuts, salads, fruits, eggs. I was hoping for some heavy items such as sausages or bacon, or even some Arabic mezze. It seemed that the food available were following a continental theme plus some Mexican snacks.

I ended up getting a sample of the Mexican dishes which became a prelude to our dinner. We were going to dine at their Mexican restaurant, La Tablita, that night.

My wife and I liked that their dedicated egg station had two cooks handling the influx of orders. Another staff ensured that the requests were delivered straight to the guest’s table.

They also have a juice station offering fresh juices and smoothies. I took a few glass servings of the green detox juice and the banana date smoothie.

Our breakfast was satisfactory and filling even if we didn’t have much meat options. The staff and service made up for our overall experience.
