We celebrated iftar at Café Society Dubai one evening. Located at the ground level of TAMANI Marina Hotel, this cafe normally offers a la carte menu items. This Ramadan season though, they have opened a lavish buffet selection for Iftar as well as a special menu for Suhour.
I looked up some photos of the cafe prior to our dinner and was intrigued by its posh interiors. Cafe Society expresses its decor and theme through the art of socializing back in the golden years. With its purple chairs and gold and white accents, the ambiance lets you dine in style and in a luxurious setting.

Restaurant Review: Café Society in Dubai Marina
You can reach Cafe Society by exiting the Dubai Tram’s Mina Seyahi station. We arrived a bit early which was quite good as I needed the time to take pictures of the buffet untouched.
The iftar is priced at AED 120 and guests can enjoy in a variety of traditional Arabic cuisine including hot and cold mezze, salads, soups, desserts and main courses like lamb ouzi and Arabic mix grill. They also have a selection of international menu items.

We were quite impressed with the menu options available. The presentation of the food is quite tasteful and the quality goes well with its luxurious theme. I remember I kept going back for servings of the roasted lamb, spinach fatayer, and moutabal.

10% of Proceeds to be Donated to UAE Red Crescent
Another thing worth noting from this cafe is that 10 percent of the proceeds during Ramadan will be donated to charity. This is part of the hotel’s core values (CHARITY) and this initiative is a great way of exercising it especially this holy month.
During Suhour, guests have a choice of getting a crafted menu AED 80 per person or choose from a variety of options from their a la carte from 09:30 pm to 03:00 am.
